PORTRAITURE

As part of developing my skills with drawing portraits, I created few quick sketches of different people, some that I don't know personally, other closer to my heart.

LOGO For florist 'dzikie wino' in poland

A logo I created for florist in Poland Studio Kwiatowe "Dzikie Wino". I created a few variations to be used to represent the company on its web pages, social media and the products they distribute by their name.

ANIMAL & BIRD Collages

In my free time I always enjoy creating new animal and bird collages. I experiment with textures, different materials and patterns to give them depth and to make them characteristic, unique in their own special way.

BUILDINGS & LANDSCAPES

Visuals of buildings and landscapes using combination of watercolour paints, collage and pencil and fine liners.

Missing People Awareness Campaign - BA8 Project - NUA 3rd Year

I have decided to create a project that would be unlike anything I have ever done before. I chose to do a brief on ‘Missing People’. I find that it is a massive problem that the society is struggling with in 21st century; however I have realized that a lot of people overlook or are even unaware of how many people go missing around the world and in the UK each year. There are around 250,000 missing person reports each year. The aim of my project is to open eyes. I want people to be more aware about problem such as people disappearing as this happens all around us and can touch anyone in one way or another.

MISSING OBJECTS - BA8 PROJECT - NUA 3rd year

'Missing Objects Project' was an additional part/ area of a 'Missing People Project' that I have explored during my last term at university. My aim was to reflect the effect of a loved one going missing using everyday objects that are very often left behind by those who disappear. Therefore, these objects that come to our use everyday such as house keys or jewellery become of a great importance and significance. My final piece was a hand-made concertina booklet that consisted of texture, objects and sentences that add the emotional effect of the idea behind the imagery.

UEA Collaboration Project - Working with 1st Year Creative Writing Students

As Year 3 Illustration Group we were to collaborate with UEA Year 1 creative writing students and our role was to illustrate the text that was written by a person that we were going to be paired with. Overall I have really appreciated and relished an opportunity of this short project. I have developed a good working relationship with my partner from creative writing course and together we have managed to create a fruitful outcome.

Illustrating 'AngelFall' book cover & creating three inside illustrations - BA7 project - NUA 3rd Year

For my first project of the 3rd year at NUA, I wanted to do something that interests me, but would challenge and push me forward at the same time. I have decided to look into a young adult novel called' Angelfall' by Susan Ee which has captivated me with its unique storyline. In the past I have enjoyed creating book covers, therefore that was one of the aims this term - to create a successful and striking book cover that would attract young adults. Alongside I produced some spot illustrations for the first three chapters of the book.

Bird Collages

Like many people, I find birds are a fascinating subject to explore and illustrate. Here are some of the examples of the bird collages that I have made. These particular birds are often seen in Norfolk region.

Pigeons in Norwich - BA6 Project - NUA 2nd Year

The Project I did in my last term of 2nd year at NUA, was a great challenge and an interesting topic to tackle. I have been reluctant to approach the theme of 'Pigeons in Norwich' to begin with, however over time I started to enjoy it thoroughly. What made me choose pigeons as my main subject was the fact that people rarely notice these bird and if they do, they find them a nuisance. Through my final images, I wanted to change people's opinions and perspectives on these birds, because if you look closely they are incredibly beautiful creatures with a great amount of colours in their feathers.

REPORTAGE PROJECT - POLISH SOCIETY IN UK - BA5 PROJECT - NUA 2nd year

BA5 involved a lot of location drawing. I had to find a topic that interested me and that would provide me with a lot of research and interesting outcomes. I have created a set of postcards representing Polish Society in the Norfolk area and went to a few events that gave me an opportunity to gather a lot of interesting ideas. I wanted to represent Polish culture through simple imagery and limited colour palette where white & red combination represent the colours of Polish flag.
